Information collected
Registration collects your email address, optional model and network-region preferences, page language and submission time. Our hosting service processes network information needed to deliver pages, such as IP addresses and request metadata.
How it is used
We use it to record requests, avoid duplicate registrations, send related availability and activation notices, and handle support and deletion requests. We do not sell your personal information.
Storage and service providers
Waitlist records are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV; the website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Email correspondence is handled by our mail service. Administrator login uses necessary session cookies, and Cloudflare D1 stores administrator account authentication data, sessions and rate-limit records; IP addresses used for rate limiting are hashed. These systems may process information outside your region.
Retention and deletion
We keep waitlist records only as long as needed to handle availability notices and related requests; you can request deletion at any time. Email hello@cheapmac.dev to access, correct or delete your record. We will process the request after verifying that it is yours.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not set advertising tracking scripts. Cloudflare provides visit and performance analytics on hosted pages, processing page visits, browser information and performance measurements. Email addresses and preferences in the availability form are used for registration; our form code does not send them to analytics.
Payments and rental information
The website does not currently collect payments or card information. If activating a new rental requires additional account or payment information, we will explain how it is used and handled before collecting it.
